Despite owning scores of nail polishes, I still have a few gaps. You know, those staple colours that you often want in your collection that go with almost anything you wear. That is why I purchased Muchi Muchi by Essie Nail Polish. Muchi Muchi (pictured below in the nighttime) is a creamy, subtle pastel pink with a hint of mauve.
MAIN POLISH: Muchi Muchi by Essie
GLITTER ACCENT POLISH: LA Colors Nail Polish in Glitter Bom
TOPCOAT USED: Yes
Muchi Muchi went quite some time before chipping. I was pleasantly surprised that even after a significant amount of gardening, I only had a couple of minor chips. That is when I decided to add some nail art to lengthen the life of my manicure.
GET THE LOOK: NAIL ART TUTORIAL
- First, I applied two coats of Muchi Muchi nail polish.
- As you can see, I topped it off with a Glitter Bomb by LA Girls in gradient style. Glitter bomb always performs well in nail art designs.
I applied the first coat to 3/4 of the nail, the second to a half and the 3rd to the last 1/4 of the nail to acquire a gradient effect with the glitter.
- Next, top it all off with a topcoat if you desire an even glossier and even look.
Muchi Muchi is definitely my perfect soft, girly pink nail polish. The glitter-based nail art kinda makes me feel like I’m going to my high school prom. Still, who doesn’t want to feel youthful now and then? LOL.
Muchi Muchi by Essie is also perfect for nail art as it is quite an opaque colour that isn’t too thick.
